Alice Magalnick

Alice has spent her adult life providing support, encouragement and guidance to individuals in need. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Quinnipiac College and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University, holding a CT license in this field since 2002. Early in her career, Alice worked with individuals with developmental disabilities and has specialty working with individuals and families experiencing Interpersonal Violence, Substance Use Disorders, DCF involvement and trauma. She has worked in social services for agencies such as Family and Children’s Agency, DVCC, and Bridgeport Hospital. Currently she is the Clinical Supervisor for Women’s Wellness Inc. in Milford CT and the MH provider for Emerge Inc. (a transitional housing program for women and children with DV history) in Stratford.

In addition to her professional experience, Alice has volunteered with the Jamie Hulley Arts Foundation for over 10 years and has been a parent volunteer for her son’s youth hockey association for over 7 years. Alice credits her sister Faith, who was born with Down’s Syndrome, as a guiding inspiration in her compassion towards others.
