Bryan Garbe

Bryan Garbe is an award-winning composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in drums, guitar, and steel pan. Over the past two decades, he has toured worldwide, recorded with Grammy Award-winning artists, and performed at some of New York City’s most notable venues, including Madison Square Garden and the Beacon Theater.

Bryan has been teaching music for over 20 years, working with students of all levels and across a wide range of genres through private lessons and group classes. He has led clinics and masterclasses at leading universities internationally and has served as musical director for bands, ensembles, and orchestras. His teaching centers on building a deep and flexible musical vocabulary, giving students the tools to learn any song, improvise, and create their own music.

Bryan is an active composer for film and television, working as a composer, additional composer, music producer, and recording musician on projects featured on HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV. He also composes for music houses such as Warner Chappell. His screen-scoring studies include participation in Columbia University’s ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and NYU’s Screen Scoring Summer Workshop. He was also the recipient of the BMI Pete Carpenter Fellowship and participated in the Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentorship Program.
