Michael has about 40 years professional experience in Engineering, Project Management, and Business Development in the Aerospace and Data Communications industries. His Engineering degrees are complimented with a Masters in Teaching. Michael volunteerism spans over 30 years beginning with the Cub Scouts and coaching basketball and baseball for various organizations, including AAU, Babe Ruth, Little League, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club. Upon his two sons going to college, Michael began volunteering at the American Red Cross as Disaster Action Team Leader in Bridgeport and an Emergency Shelter Manager. Following this, Michael volunteered at various mentor programs including: United Way’s wiMentor Program supporting five high school students at Bridgeport’s Harding, Bassick and The Bridge Academy and RYASAP’s Parent Leadership Training Institute. As a drummer, Michael is excited to be a Founder’s Circle member in support of Help Our People’s Music Education program.
